Reviewer Selection Criteria

The peer-review process at Al-Qalam Al-Moner Journal for Humanities and Applied Sciences is conducted by a distinguished group of experts and specialists in the relevant fields of the submitted research. To ensure the highest academic standards, we rely on professional experts who meet the following criteria:

First: Required Standards and Qualifications for Reviewers

  1. Ethical Attributes: Full commitment to objectivity, integrity, and scientific honesty.

  2. Punctuality: Adherence to the deadlines set by the journal administration to ensure a timely review process.

  3. Scientific Proficiency: Advanced mastery and deep knowledge within their specific academic sub-specialty.

  4. Academic Rank & Experience: Must hold the rank of at least Assistant Professor and possess significant experience in peer-reviewing (having reviewed no fewer than ten research papers for refereed journals).

  5. Critical Ability: The ability to provide scientific feedback, opinions, and critiques in a precise and methodical manner.

  6. Privacy and Compliance: Strict adherence to the journal’s privacy policy and comprehensive knowledge of scientific peer-review regulations and standards.

Second: Accreditation and Institutional Cooperation

  • The journal selects reviewers from a certified list of experts in both Humanities and Applied Sciences.

  • The journal benefits from the accredited reviewers' database of the Libyan Association for E-learning and Education.

  • Communication between reviewers and the journal is conducted through official channels and technical platforms approved by the publisher.

  • Accredited reviewers are entitled to benefit from the services and incentives provided by the journal in recognition of their scientific contributions.

Third: Requirements for Membership and Reviewer Certification

Scholars wishing to join the board of reviewers must submit the following:

  1. Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV): Clearly stating the specific specialty and academic rank.

  2. Academic Profiles: Links to professional profiles on global platforms such as Google Scholar, ResearchGate, Scopus, and ORCID.

  3. Official Documentation: Copies of academic certificates and necessary personal identification documents.
