Conflict of Interest Policy

Conflict of Interest Policy

Al-Qalam Al-Moner Journal maintains the highest standards of transparency. Disclosure of any potential conflict of interest is essential to ensure the credibility of published research.

I. Forms of Conflict:

  • Financial Interests: Grants, funding, or consultancies from entities interested in the research outcomes.

  • Personal Relationships: Kinship, close friendships, or rivalries between authors, reviewers, or editors.

  • Institutional Affiliations: Employment at institutions that may be affected by the research results.

  • Academic Interests: Direct competition or recent collaboration that could bias the evaluation.

II. Responsibilities:

  • Authors: Must include a clear "Conflict of Interest Statement" at the end of the manuscript. If none exists, state: "The authors declare no conflicts of interest regarding the publication of this paper."

  • Reviewers: Must recuse themselves immediately if a conflict is identified.

  • Editorial Board: Members must remain neutral and withdraw from decisions involving manuscripts where they have a personal or professional stake.

III. Actions:

Failure to disclose conflicts may lead to the immediate rejection of the manuscript or its retraction if discovered after publication.
