Publication Terms Regulations

Author Guidelines | Al-Qalam Al-Moner Journal

Al-Qalam Al-Moner Journal for Humanities and Applied Sciences is a peer-reviewed academic platform published by Dar Al-Qalam Al-Raseen. We seek to publish original research that adheres to rigorous scientific standards. Authors must follow the instructions below when submitting their work:

I. General Terms

  1. Scope: The journal accepts high-quality research in the fields of Humanities and Applied Sciences.

  2. Languages: Submissions are accepted in Arabic, English, and French.

  3. Originality: The research must be original, unpublished, not extracted from previous theses or books, and not currently under consideration by any other publisher.

II. Formatting Requirements

  • Word Count: Manuscripts should ideally range between 4,000 and 10,000 words (including references).

  • Margins: Set at 2.5 cm on all sides.

  • Font Settings (Arabic):

    • Headings: Traditional Arabic, size 16 (Bold).

    • Body Text: Traditional Arabic, size 14 (Regular).

    • Author Information: Traditional Arabic, size 12 (Bold).

    • Line Spacing: 1.0 cm.

  • Font Settings (Non-Arabic):

    • Headings: Times New Roman, size 14 (Bold).

    • Body Text: Times New Roman, size 12 (Regular).

  • Abstracts: Authors must provide two abstracts (Arabic and English/Research Language), each with a maximum of 200 words, accompanied by 5 keywords. (Note: Machine translation for abstracts is strictly prohibited).

III. Tables and Figures

  • Tables and figures must be numbered sequentially with titles placed above the object.

  • Images and charts must be of high quality, clear, and high-resolution (minimum 300 dpi).

IV. Documentation and References

  • In-Text Citation: Use the parenthetical system (Author’s Last Name, Year of Publication, and Page Number for direct quotes).

  • Reference List: Arranged alphabetically (Arabic sources first, followed by foreign sources) without numbering, following these formats:

    • Book: Last Name, First Name. (Year). Title of the Book. Edition. Publisher: Country.

    • Journal Article: Last Name, First Name. (Year). "Title of the Article." Journal Name. Volume (Issue).
