This research aims to identify the obstacles to practicing school activities and ways to reduce them from the perspective of social specialists in basic education schools in Al-Asabi’a. This is in light of the educational, social, and psychological importance that school activities play in building students’ personalities and developing their skills and talents. The research adopted the descriptive analytical method, and a questionnaire was used as a data collection tool from social specialists working in basic education schools. The research found that there are several obstacles that limit the effectiveness of school activities, most notably: • Weak financial resources. • Lack of spaces and equipment designated for activities. • Insufficient cooperation from some teachers and parents. The results also indicated that the social specialist has a pivotal role in reducing these obstacles through: • Good planning of activities in accordance with the school’s available resources. • Organizing awareness programs for parents about the importance of activities. The research recommended strengthening the administrative role in supporting school activities and organizing continuous training courses for social specialists and teachers supervising activities in the fields of planning and managing school activities
