This study aims to explore the patterns of digital resource usage among graduate students at the Faculty of Education at Al-Zaytouna University. The research objectives include identifying the types of digital resources used, revealing the most and least utilized resources, determining usage patterns based on purpose, and identifying the factors influencing the use of these resources. The study employed a descriptive analytical approach, selecting a random sample of graduate students. A questionnaire was designed to measure the patterns of digital resource usage, and the data were analyzed using SPSS, applying both descriptive and inferential analysis methods. The results indicated that the overall level of digital resource usage was low, with a mean score of (1.96) and a relative weight of (39.2%). University digital repositories topped the list of the most used resources, while there was a notable decline in the use of core digital resources such as theses and academic journals. Additionally, the motivations for using digital resources were relatively low, with trust in the reliability of digital information being the leading motivation. Regarding the skills for handling digital resources, the results were moderate to low, with significant challenges in evaluating the credibility of sources and distinguishing between them. The main challenges faced by students included weak digital skills, limited access to content, and a lack of technical and training support. The results did not show statistically significant differences in the use of digital resources based on variables such as gender, age, academic specialization, and years of study, reflecting similar usage patterns across different groups. The study emphasizes the need to enhance digital skills and institutional support to improve the use of digital resources in academic research, thereby contributing to the enhancement of research quality among graduate students.
